Bluetooth Technology Integration

In our technology based society, many of the newer vehicles have the safety and convenience of Bluetooth Handsfree Calling and Streaming. While many people think you have to purchase a new to get these luxuries, we are here to tell you NO YOU DON'T! Bluetooth is a protocol used to stream files and audio over short distances. How might this be useful in a car you say? Well there are two main ways, lets go over those in the following paragraphs.

Handsfree Calling: Never take your eyes off the road to make a call again! With handsfree calling you have he ability to make or receive a call without taking you eyes off the road. Most kits that we offer are voice activated and allow you to call anyone in you phone book just by just stating their name. These kits are truly handy for the commuter or the road warrior that is in their vehicle for multiple hours a day.

Audio Streaming: With many people using digital audio sources such as Pandora, Spotify, or Slacker Radio, adding Bluetooth integration would allow you to stream those sources wirelessly, while still maintaining your vehicles factory appearance. To achieve wireless streaming we would install a Bluetooth module behind the dash of you car and connect it directly to your radio. After doing this you can enjoy digital audio from any Bluetooth capable device (i.e. Android, Blackberry, iPhone, MP3 players, tablets, laptops etc.). This is ideal for anyone who relies heavily on their cell phone for audio content.

We often get asked the question, "Will this work on my car?". At GP Customs we have partnered up with many companies that specialize in adding Bluetooth to factory systems. The days of having to a radio in your car for audio streaming or handsfree are gone. With our integration kits from PAC, iSimple, or Crux we are able to cover 99% of vehicles on the market, and all while keeping your vehicles dash looking stock.
